Scouts & Guides camp held

Jammu, May 1: A PARVESH CAMP of the Scouts & Guides was organized on the directions stated by Sh I.D. Soni, Acting Stale Chief Commissioner J&K Stale Bharat Scouls & Guides, with cooperation of Director School Education . Anuradha Gupta today at Govt. High School Nichla, Zone Gagwal. In this camp various students from different schools participated. The camp is anticipated to be witnessing an attendance of approximately 300 students from Jammu division.
Main objective of the organizing camp is to empower girls in the society which is established by theme of the camp being "Shree Shakti". Therefore, the camp, with respect to the young Guides can be a pivotal moment in their lifetime showered by the opportunities to learn and comprehend newer set of skills making them independent and a self-reliant in their future. This camp focuses on nurturing them with qualities like self-accommodation, cooperation, team spirit, the value of comradeship and many more.
With the view of aiding the all-round development of participating students the Regional Red Cross Society had sent nutritious refreshments for the participants. Regional Red Cross Society has committed to provide the necessary First Aid Awareness to the concerning students. Four students of MV International School namely Amit Prakash, Mehak Rajput, Abhimanyu Pratap & Vishal. along, who have received the Rajya Puruskar from Governor Satya Pal Malik Ji, were present in the camp, they shared valuable inputs and shared experiences of their journey so far. They motivated the students to take up the cause of Scouts & Guides to higher levels.
