India and Pakistani troops exchange fire in Poonch
5/5/2019 11:27:18 PM
That the Sri Lankan bombers travelled to Kashmir to seek training from militants, having grown in Pakistan, before carrying out series of bombing in the Island country. Thisd incident was created by Sri Lankan bombers with the help and training from Kashmiri militants. And that is the reason for Pak troops to violate ceasefire on the LOC and on the IB in Jammu and Kashmir for pushing groups of trained militants into Kashmirt. India and Pakistan troops exchanged gunfire and mortar shelling along Line of Control in Shapur, Kerni and Qasba area of Poonch for the second consecutive day on Friday."At about 1600 hours, Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing with small arms along the LoC in Qasba sector of Poonch," Defence officials said.
The Indian Army is effectively retaliating, With Pakistan using heavy weaponry and 80 and 120 mm mortar bombs targeting civilian areas along the LoC in Poonch, people have been advised to stay indoors, officials said. They said the small arms firing from Pakistani side was reported for nearly one hours in three villages of Sahpur sector, causing panic among the border residents. Pakistan continues to violate the ceasefire understanding of 2003 despite repeated calls for restraint and adherence to the agreement during flag meetings between the border guarding forces of the two countries, the officials said
In fact the main purpose of ceasefire violations was to create scare among the border civilians, and push some militants into Jammu and Kashmir and damage some border outposts of the Indian troops. There have been series of meetings between the Indian troops and the Pak Army officers. Despite assurance given by the Pak Army officials there is no end to ceasefire violations. And the basic purpose of ceasefire violations was to keep the Kashmir issue boiling. And once the ceasefire violations came to an end India would claim that there is peace in Kashmir. And during the Lok Sabha elections to be followed by the Assembly poll voters were expected to remain indoors and boycott the polling which would affect world's biggest democracy. And those supporting Pakistan including the separatists would create a bigger trouble on the borders and within the Kashmir valley.
