Early Times Report

Poonch, May 11: PWD in twin district of Poonch and Rajouri always remained in news on account of its misdeeds. A RTI applicant approached SE PWD under first appellate authority and the office of SE, under no R&B/P&C/69/361-65 dated 03-05-2019 directed XEn PWD Poonch to appear in first appellate proceedings on 9th of May, but the same letter reached the RTI applicant on 11th of May through post.
It shows that PWD officials posted in SE office deliberately delayed the delivery of official correspondence to the applicant, so that RTI applicant could not reach well on time and date. Whereas other RTI applicant also allege that PWD has made a mockery of the RTI act in the state and officers always hoodwink RTI applicants on one pretext or another. When contacted by Early Times, SE PWD said, " I don't know the reason of delay, but have given more time to my subordinates to implement RTI in letter and spirit.
