Strange, Congress terms its victory in MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan a conspiracy
Fear of defeat?

Early Times Report
Jammu, May 22: The exit polls have rattled almost all the opposition parties. The reason: the exit polls predicted a clear victory for the BJP-led NDA with some exit polls giving seats ranging from 335 to 350 to 355. However, it is the Congress which has completely lost its way. The fear of possible defeat at the hands of the BJP across India, barring Kerala and Punjab, has so rattled the Congress that it on Tuesday termed its own victory in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan in December 2018 a conspiracy hatched against it by the BJP.
Senior Congress leader and party spokesperson Rashid Alvi claimed that "his party's victory in the state assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan was a conspiracy to make people believe in EVMs".
While speaking to the reporters, Alvi claimed that "if the exit poll results turn out to be true, they would prove that there was EVM manipulation during the Lok Sabha polls. Such a statement came despite the well established fact that EVMs play no role in exit poll predictions.
Rashid Alvi also added that "he and his party also believe that the Congress' election victory in the three North Indian states was a conspiracy to make people believe in EVMs and the Election Commission". He also accused the "exit poll agencies of being biased".
It's no wonder then that its critics have started asking the Congress to ask its "MLAs in all the three states resign and seek a fresh mandate".
It is for the first time in the electoral history of the world that any political party in country of the world described its own victory a "conspiracy".
