3 killed, 6 injured as matador rolls down in Udhampur

Udhampur, June 5: One matadoor bearing registration no. JK02Q/1889 turned turtle on the road near Hot and Chilly hotel Udhampur in which 6 persons got injured and 3 persons died.
As per detail, the victim identified as Simran Sharma (25) daughter of Bhushan Kumar resident of Barrain Udhampur, Surinder Butt (44) son of Niranjan Butt R/O Subash Nager Udhampur. Others who got injured were identified as Bindiya Devi (35) wife of Bupinder R/O Barrian, Gupal Dass (30) S/O Raj Kumar R/O Jakhani, Manvi (15) daughter of Mohinder Singh R/O Phalata and Tripta Rani (64) W/O Bhushan Kumar R/O Barrian.
Meanwhile District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr Piyush Singla along with SSP, Rajiv Omparkash Pandey today visited the District Hospital (DH) and Military Hospital Udhampur to take stock of medicare facilities being extended to the persons injured in a Matador accident which occurred at Barrian in Udhampur district here today morning. He enquired about well being of the injured and instructed the doctors to provide them best possible treatment. He said that free treatment would be extended to them for their fast recovery.
The DDC also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
