AAS felicitates outstanding achievers

Poonch, June 6: Several outstanding achievers in various fields were felicitated by Ahsaan Al Sabeel (AAS) at an impressive Eid Milan event organised, here at Village Kalai today. Outstanding achievers in the field of education, literature, religion, engineering, medicine, law among other fields were honoured.
Rich tributes were paid to former educationists for their selfless services in the later part of 20th century. Contribution of Master Mir Hussain, Babu Faiz Ahmed, Pushup Raj Sharma, Mohd Yusuf Kohli and Khadim Hussain Qamar were particularly recalled by speakers on the occasion. Retired ZEOs Mohd Amin, Bashir Jalab and Abdul Ghani were honoured on the occasion.
Hafiz Shamas Ud Din, who also chaired the event, was also felicitated on the occasion for his outstanding contribution in imparting religious education since last three decades. Several youngsters who have recently qualified competitive exams at national levels and JKBOSE toppers were also felicitated. Prominent villagers including Advocate Ch. Lal Hussain Mushtaq, DySP (Retd.) Talib Hussain, Poet Dr. Rafiq Anjum, Regional Director MANUU Sana Ullah, Er. Mumtaz Choudhary, Er. Hafiz Awan, Ex Sarpanch Zaffar Khatana besides villagers from adjoining villages spoke on the occasion and appreciated the initiatives of AAS. Ahsaan Al Sabeel (AAS) is a registered charitable trust committed to socio-cultural and educational uplift of people and has been extending help to needy including students. Founding trustees of AAS including Muhammad Irshad, KPS, Iftkhar Talib, KPS and Manzoor Hussain, DySP thanked the participants for sparing their valuable time to inspire and motivate youngsters.
