MNP supports purported move on delimitation | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 8: Manvadhikar National Party J&K unit expressed delight over the purported move for delimitation of Assembly constituencies in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions to ensure fair representation to all 3 regions of the State thereby putting an end to discriminations meted out with the regions that have more area and population than valley. In a statement issued today by Sanjay Dhar, State President MNP, Vinod Pandita State General Secretary Org, M.L. Bhat State Organiser, Gulshan Kumar provincial President Jammu, Balbir Singh provincial vice president Jammu, Ravinder Singh Youth vice president J&K said that MNP favours early delimitation before the conduct of State Assembly elections in J&K in a time bound manner. These leaders also appealed GOI to bring 5 to 6 lakh Kashmiri Pandits under delimitation process by allocation of seats to empower this hapless community politically which has been totally neglected and ignored politically since last 30 years in exile so that this community also plays its active role in political spectrum of the state for their over all development and upliftment as this community has pinned great hopes in central government. |
