DC Reasi constitutes monitoring teams for education sector

reasi, June 9: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib today held a meeting with Principal DIET Reasi, Chief Education Officer, Reasi and the officers who have made constituent of monitoring teams of Education Department drew from all the six zones of District Reasi. She sensitized all the officers to raise the mechanism of academic standard in the areas allotted with effective monitoring of schools in their jurisdiction.
DDC interacted with the participants to ascertain the present scenario in the schools and also took feedback from the field functionaries. She called upon the officers for improving the academic standards by taking the initiatives like learning outcomes. She also laid the stress to use low cost/no cost teaching aids while teaching at the primary and elementary level. Monitoring teams were asked to sensitize the students in the age group of 4-9 years to understand the concept easily at Primary and Elementary level. The monitoring team will monitor each and every school of the area allotted to them.
She said zonal education monitoring teams shall be solely responsible for any kind of malpractices in the examinations and they will ensure to conduct fair and free examinations in the schools. Absenteeism of teachers in schools shall be dealt with sternly, she asserted.
