6/26/2019 11:49:11 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 26: The stinking park at Mubarak Mandi complex has added to woes of people in the area as the mercury rises with every passing day. .
Once known as grandeur of yole the Mubarak Mandi complex has become a health hazard and dumping site.
The park and entire complex is stinking with authorities at the helm of affairs taking no pains at all in maintenance if park.
All the three fountains are in bad condition and the heaps of mulba dumps have become breeding place for insects, mosquitoes, other reptiles including snakes.
The place which was once the Palace of Maharajas and crown of Jammu is now in shambles as authorities have totally failed to maintain and upkeep it.
The morning and evening walkers who used to enjoy visiting the complex now hesitate even taking a stroll from there as entire complex is in a bad shape.
The much talked about renovation of the Mubarak Mandi complex
is nowhere near completion as work is going at snail's pace.
With present speed of renovation work it seems the complex will not even be completed in next one decade, said the residents living in the vicinity of the complex. They alleged that the concerned department has failed to clean the complex.
