| Security at Udhampur railway station, along tracks tightened | | Amaranth Yatra-2019 | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 28: Keeping in view the expected rush of devotees of Shri Amarnath Ji yatra, GRP as well as Railway police beefed up the security along railway track as well as Udhampur Railway Station. SSP Railways Ranjit Singh reviewed the security arrangements and instruct all the officers to ensure effective vigil in their areas of responsibility by taking all the security measures viz. intensifying patrolling/checking, keeping the track under constant surveillance, making effective liaison with each other as well as the people residing nearby the Railway Stations/track. They have been advised to take all the security measures as deemed fit by themselves for the security of Railway system and alert the deployed jawans to foil any attempt of anti-national activities.
SSP Railway Ranjit Singh informed that security has been beefed up keeping in view the Amarnath Ji Yatra as some devotees are expected to come by trains adding that Special Dog Squad and specially trained jawans have been deployed to ensure foolproof security. He said that 24 hours checking and frisking of each and every train will be carried out. |
