Jammu, June 28: An Assistant Professor (AP) posted in a Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua has knocked the doors of police department Kathua, demanding registration of FIR against the principal of the college as well as another Assistant Professor for harassing her for the last over four months.
In the letter forwarded by the AP to police department Kathua , she has claimed that she was subjected to mental harassment by the principal ,after she had complained against an AP for harassing her.
In the complaint, she has alleged that the principal has been colluding with the accused AP who had marked her Annual Performance Report (APR) normal on various accounts, despite the fact that she has been heading NCC unit, singlehandedly organized workshop, besides other activities.
She further claimed that her APR was marked average after her complaint against AP and instead of taking action against the AP, the principal had interfered in the complaint committee. The complainant had to call the then Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rohit Khajuria, as the principal was not addressing her harassment complaint as per laid guidelines.
Later, she claimed, a senior Professor forced her for compromise, claiming that the DC had suggested for the same, but she was later apprised by the then DC that he had not asked for any compromise but for a formal complaint.
The complainant AP has also claimed that the AP, who harassed her, was also involved in other harassment cases and former Secretary had also reprimanded him during her visit to Kathua.
The AP has now appealed police to register FIR against principal as well as the AP and take control of the dispatch register as the principal and the accused AP have been misusing the same.
Till last reports poured in, no FIR was registered. |
