Jammu, June 30: Reposing faith in Munish Gupta, Editor Early Times, the residents of Bandu Rakh have assured him of extending their support in upcoming assembly elections. During a religious programme held Sunday at Gurudwara Bandu Rakh, where Munish Gupta was invited to take blessings of Guruji in presence of the local residents, he said that he would not let them down and will make all possible efforts to mitigate their civic problems. "It has been more than a month since I have been campaigning door-to-door for upcoming assembly elections as an independent candidate and taking first hand experience of the problems being faced by the people. I have resolved to mitigate those problems once I am elected," he said while delivering a speech at Gurudwara Bandu Rakh. "I assure you that I will perform much better than BJP, Congress representatives, and for realizing my goals I need your blessings. I am committed to carry out developmental works across Gandhi Nagar constituency. I will also distribute my salary among the needy. This is my promise," said Munish, adding that roads, lanes and drains in the constituency are in bad condition and for redressing such issue he needs people's support. He said that there is no need "to come to in the form of an delegation. Even an individual can approach me regarding problems faced by the people. I promise that I will render corruption-free service to the people, and all their issues will be taken up for their resolutions." |
