| CEO Poonch ignores Directorate's order, teachers continue to suffer | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, June 30: In a bizzare situation Chief Education Officer Poonch balantly refused and continues to disobey the order No. DSEJ/NG/Tr/ 4837-39 Dated: 08-02-2019 passed by the Directorate of School Education Jammu. Even on 29/6/19 one of the teachers association held protest dharna against the arbitrary approach of CEO Poonch wherein blue eyed teachers have been overstaying on their prime posting and deserving teachers are suffering duet o apathy of the CEO Poonch.
The above said order issued in February by the Directorate of School Education Jammu enlisted the names of some seven teachers of district Poonch who are overstaying for more than 5 years. The copy of this order has even been sent to the Joint Director Education Poonch/Rajouri but this order is still hanging fire. The said order has not been honoured and the teachers with no political connections continue to suffer. When the Early Times Correspondent contacted and enquired from Chief Education Officer Poonch, he refused to comment on this issue straight forwardly. CEO Poonch must immediately look into this urgent and genuine matter of the teachers serving in hard zones with matured stay. |
