Give new faces a chance to serve you: Munish tells people | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 30: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Sunday urged people to break the shackles and vote for the new faces. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish told the people that times are changing fast and we need to change ourselves before it becomes too late. "I have come to you with a hope that my people will support me and vote for me so that we can work collectively to bring the much needed change," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "During the past 70-years we have voted for the traditional politicians, who couldn't do much for us. They just kept us busy with slogans and lip service. The pathetic condition of Jammu areas is an ample proof of the fact that they just left the electorate in lurch and didn't concentrate on the important works which could have eased the lives of the common people." Munish said that "Assembly elections are knocking at our door and these are a golden opportunity for us to send a message to the non-performers that they are not welcome anymore." He said, "I have taken a one step forward. Now the ball is in your court. Give me a chance to serve you and I assure you that the issues confronting the people would be resolved within no time." |
