Early Times Report Jammu, July 3: State Chairman of Pradesh Congress Committee J&K, Adv. Suresh Kumar Dogra welcomed the bill passed in the parliament, which replaces the J&K (reservation) Amendment Ordinance 2019, issued on March 1, provides for amendments in the J&K reservation act 2004, to bring persons residing in the areas adjoining IB (International Border) within the ambit of reservation at par with persons living in areas adjoining ALOC (Actual Line Of Control) , the earlier provisions was 3% which is now enhanced to 6% ,Adv. Suresh K.Dogra, said that we support every section of the society and their rights, should be protected but why the step mother behaviour is being done with OBC peoples ,? Where are the rights of the OBC peoples, which are larger in number than other community and section throughout India as well as in J&K, the Mandal Commission Report which is also directed to implement by the apex court of India in 1992, but till now OBC peoples of J&K are deprived of their rights ,only 2% reservation on the name of OSC is provided to OBC despite of being larger section of OBC is residing in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Adv. Dogra strongly demanded the enhancement of OBC quota as well as well as issuance of OBC certification despite of OSC certificate in the J&K State. |
