| Awareness programme on Health and Environment organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9: Members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organized an awareness programme on Health and Environment at Govt Higher Secondary School Lati, Girls Middle School Laati and Boys Middle School Laati with a motive to create awareness among children on Health and Environment .The President of NGO Tariq Shah, Programme Co ordinator Sahil, member Ritupriya, Volunteer Sanjeet and others participated in the programme. NGO highlighted the role of fresh natural diet and cleanliness in Health and also emphasised the need to conserve environment. While speaking in the awareness camp, the President of NGO Tariq Shah motivated children to adopt healthy habits to keep themselves healthy. He said, "Today we see development all around us but unfortunately it is taking place at the cost of our environment and health which is quite alarming situation. No doubt we are all going away from our own culture and traditions and have adopted many harmful substances as a part of our life style like using plastic bags , utensils and fast food etc which have destroyed health. |
