Jammu, July 17: The field staff of Power Development Department in Jammu has probably shut their eyes and are only waiting for a major catastrophe to happen.
As can be seen from the picture, high-tension wires are passing perilously close to a two-storey residential house in Preet Nagar area of Jammu.
The house No. 13 of Ward No. 53 belongs to Kuljeet Singh.
"There's every possibility of an accident because of the threat posed to the human lives by these wires. And the PDD would be squarely responsible for that," some local residents told Early Times.
