Kalakote BMO loses command over erring staff, people suffer
7/21/2019 12:31:18 AM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 20: Leaving the public on the mercy of God, the night duty staff for Community Health Centre (CHC) Kalakote disappears just after marking the attendance.
Sources informed Early Times most of the night duty staff prefers to leave hospital by 11pm and it happens almost daily.
"The overstaying BMO Kalakote, who joined here in May 2015, who himself remains out of station most of time, has lost control over the staff", they said, adding that the local staff members have turned truants.
"You will find, only one paramedical staff member here in night hours, even sometimes, nursing orderly manages entire hospital, few days back, a complaint was sent to ADC Kalakote, who is on Amarnath duty, who further directed the Tehsildar, but the Tehsildar instead of seeking explanation from erring staff members, who were absent from their duty, disclosed the name of complainant", they said, adding that erring staff members, who most of the time skip their night duty enjoy the ashirwad of BJP ledaer, similarly the BMO Kalakote too enjoys the blessings of political heavyweights.
"The BMO Dr Shamim Choudhary, was brought here by the then Minister and local MLA, Abdul Gani Kohli in 2015, after he joined most of contractual staff members managed to get transferred at their choicest place", they said and added that the functioning of hospital has come to halt.
"The hospital was established for purpose to serve the public, not just to provide jobs to those who skip their duties", they said.
They urged Governor Malik to take appropriate actions against existing management of Kalakote hospital and the erring staff members.
