Football to lead society, youth away from drugs: Bahl | | | Early Times Report BISHNAH, July 21: A football match organized by GS Sports Club was played between Christian United and Bishnah Football Club. The Christian United won the closely contested game by 3-2 goals. Tarun Bahl (Chairman New modern group of colleges was the chief guest while SHO Bishnah, Rattan Singh Rana was guest of honour. Surjeet Singh (Sarpanch) and Rankaj Sharma were the special guests on the occasion. Shammey Khajuria (Jt. Sec.), Bunny Sadotra (Treasurer) and President GS Sports Club Sushant Gupta welcomed the guests. Speaking on the occasion, Tarun Bahl said that the role of the youth of Bishnah and their interest towards sports is indeed a strong message to youth to adopt any sport for their physical strength and fight against the drug menace in our society. He applauded the role of GS Sports Club for organizing the event. He motivated the audience, especially the younger generation to stand strongly against the use of drugs and concentrate on their education and physical strength. Later, Tarun Bahl distributed prizes to both teams with Rs 3000 to winner team and Rs 2000 to runner-up. |
