Natrang stages Manto's play 'Jurm Aur Saza' | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 21: In its consistent endeavour to promote meaningful theatre, Natrang presented Saadat Hasan Manto's play 'Jurm Aur Saza' directed by Neeraj Kant at Natrang Studio Theatre in its Sunday Theatre Series. The play in a very impactful manner, highlighted the value of consciousness and sincerity to the soul. At the beginning of the play 'Jurm aur Saza' one 'Kamla' is shown weeping continuously in front of 'Shanker', they both are sad and shocked as 'Kamla' narrates the incident when her modesty was outraged by 'Kundan' in whose house she works as a domestic help. He fraudulently calls her to his room in the pretext of helping her and when she reached there he overpowered her. On listening to this, 'Shanker' gets mad in anger as at the heart, he loves her, he decides to avenge this crime. |
