8/7/2019 9:42:33 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 7: Anti-Terrorist Front India (ATFI) has filed a petition of sedition in the court of CJM Ambala through his counsel Sumit Sharma against the Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic Party (PDP) Members of Rajya Sabha Mir Mohammad Fayaaz and Nazir Ahmad for tearing a copy of Indian constitution to protest against the scrapping of Article - 370.
The petition was filed under section 124-A , 153-A and 120-B of Indian Penal Code. The court admitted the petition and fixed 8 October for next hearing.
Shandilya said in the petition that the PDP members had hatched a conspiracy to disturb the communal harmony and organizing Hindu Muslim riots in the country.
He said that PDP members had also insulted Baba Saheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar, the architect of Indian constitution. He demanded the chairman of Rajya Sabha and Home Minister to suspend their membership from Upper house for their Anti National Act and he said we will also give memorandum to Rajya Sabha chairman against these traitors, Shandilya said.
