Pakistan upgrades security grid on LOC and on IB in J&K
8/13/2019 10:44:10 PM
What is the reason for India and Pakistan to upgrade security system. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee to hold consultations with the country's top civil and military leadership over the sudden spike in tensions with India.
Khan called the meeting after the army alleged that India used cluster bombs to target the civilian population in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The Indian Army hav termed as "lies and deceit" Pakistan's allegations that Indian troops used cluster bombs targeting civilians along the Line of Control. The NSC meeting was attended by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other top officials. In a series of tweets, Khan said that it's time for US President Donald Trump to mediate on the Kashmir issue.
"President Trump offered to mediate on Kashmir. This is the time to do so as situation deteriorates there and along the LOC with new aggressive actions being taken" by Indian forces, he said, adding that this has the "potential to blow up into a regional crisis"
India has already rejected any medication on the Kashmir issue. And India too gears up to upgrade the security grid with Pakistan heightening tough measures. India too has raised additional forces on the LOC and on he IB. India has rejected Pakistan's claim that it has killed some Indians and Pakistan has been repeating suggestions let India perform the last rites of the bodies. The cabinet led by Imran Khan has become a puppet in the hands of its Army and if the situation is any guide Army in Pakistan train terrorists who are being exported to India and Afghanistan,
The US President, in its statement, has said that as far as reorganisation of J&K is concerned it is an internal matter of India hence neither the UNSC or any court could restrict India for any rejection. Trump has stated that since the issue is an internal matter let India and Pakistan resolve the issue through bilateral talks. But India has already conveyed to the world that so long Pakistan exports terror to Kashmir bilateral talks cannot coexist. This is the suggestion from other super powers but Pakistan wants that as far as cessation of border violence and Pakistan cannot sit silent and through border violation Pakistan would keep the Kashmir issue alive.
