Imam Tawhidi snubs Pak, says 'India is older than Islam
Article 370 gone, J&K broken

Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 13: The landmark decision of PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah to do away with J&K's 70-year-old separate status within the Indian Union and break the nearly 180-year-old state into two Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh has unset Pakistan's applecart. Islamabad has been trying to solicit the support of international community against India but with no result. US, Russia, UAE, Poland, even China and many other countries have refused to side with Pakistan, which had been seeking to dismember India and annex Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh since 1947 through war and low-intensity proxy war. They have all told Pakistan that the J&K was a bilateral issue and it was for India and Pakistan to resolve it.
However, the other day, Imam Mohamad Tawhidi snubbed Pakistan on J&K issue in a manner no one ever had. He told Pakistan that J&K was never part of Pakistan and India was older than Islam. "Kashmir was never part of Pakistan. Kashmir will never be part of Pakistan. Both Pakistan and Kashmir belong to India. Muslims converting from Hinduism to Islam doesn't change the fact that the entire region is Hindu Land. India is older than Islam let alone Pakistan. Be honest," Imam said. Imam Mohamad Tawhidi is an Australian Muslim religious leader.
Earlier also, the Islamic scholar had criticized Pakistan for supporting Islamist terrorism.
"Pakistan in its constitution claims to maintain the rights of all citizens yet the government fails to recognize the rights of minorities. It has been a 'terrorist haven' for many years, harbouring terrorists. It is also guilty of taking tens of billions of dollars from the West to fight terrorism, yet has made little to no efforts in fighting any extremist ideology," the Imam was quoted as saying. .
On August 4 also, the Imam had said, "My position on the Kashmir issue has never changed. It is Hindu land that does not belong to Pakistan. I discussed this with Indian politicians and faith leaders during my last visit to India".
