Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 19: Editor Early Times Munish Gupta who has decided to contest the forthcoming assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, on Monday met the people from the different walk of life at Shergarh area.
Munish visited interior lane and bi-lane in Shergarh on bicycle and heard the grievances of the people.
He assured them that if he wins the forthcoming elections he will try his best to address all issues confronting a common man.
"I have been meeting the people for last nearly three months in various areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency. It is humble attempt on the part to reach out to my people and tell them that I have taken a plunge in the politics to serve them", said Munish.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme Munish said it is unfortunate most of the areas are without basic amenities. "Dilapidated roads and stinking garbage dumps are common in every area of Gandhi Nagar constituency. If I win the elections, I assure you that I will become your voice and highlight the issues which touch the skin of a common man", Munish urged people to strengthen his hands to lay the foundation of new Jammu.
