DC Ramban conducts public outreach programme at Gool

RAMBAN, Aug 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today conducted a public outreach programme at Gool and listened to the grievances of the locals. He also assessed the status of prevailing situation and availability of essential supplies and services in area.
SDM Gool Gayas-ul-Haq, SDPO, Mohammad Rafi Giri, XENs of PHE and PWD, AD, Food, Tehsildar Gool and officers of other departments and prominent citizens of area attended the camp.
The DC interacted with the Sarpanchs, and people of surrounding areas of Gool. He also enquired about healthcare facilities and status of requirements and supply of essential commodities. The DC directed the officers to ensure punctuality and regular attendance of employees in their respective offices and ensure availability of essential commodities, water and power supply in areas. He directed the BDO to organise meeting with PRIs to accelerate the pace of development, while the CMO was directed to conduct special camps for specially abled persons. The DC resolved most of the issues on the spot by passing necessary instructions to the concerned officers. He directed the officers to stay in contact with the people, pay regular visits and organize camps in all remotest areas to spread mass awareness about government schemes.
They also apprised the DC about various problems being faced by them including shortage drinking water, irregular power supply. They sought correction of ration cards, constriction of foot bridges and KV school building, functioning of college building, adequate staff in schools and hospitals, up gradation and blacktopping of roads, activation of mobile phone network, labour payments etc.
Responding to the public issues raised by the people DC assured that all issues projected by them would be taken into consideration and every effort would be made to ensure a convenient and friendly atmosphere for all.
