Resolve all genuine issues raised by general public: ADDC Ramban

RAMBAN, Aug 27: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Nawab Din today presided over the Panchyati Raj Institutions (PRIs) members' conference cum capacity building programme at Sangaldan of Ramban district in which Sarpanches and Panches of four blocks including Gool, Sangaldan, Gundi Dharam and Gandhri participated. ACD Zaffar Banday, SDM Gool Gayas Ul Haq, DPO Sunil Kumar, BDO Gool Rajinder Singh and BDOs of other blocks besides officers of different departments were present.
ADDC reviewed the functioning of PRIs and impressed upon them to ensure implementation of all flagship and other welfare schemes at the grass root level in true spirit in their respective Panchyats effectively to achieve fundamental motive of implementation of Panchyat Raj.
He directed the BDOs and other field functionaries of all concerned departments to assist the PRIs for implementing schemes besides formulation of development plans for inclusive growth and development in the rural areas.
ADDC emphasized that while they are being provided with all rights and authorities, they should always keep in mind their responsibilities. He said that Sarpanches and Panches take upon themselves the responsibility of bringing development and benefits of all Government Schemes to every rural household.
He asked them to work in an honest, fair and just manner so that public reposes faith in them and they become the true representatives of people.
On the occasion, ADDC gave a patient hearing to all the issues and said that government is committed to resolve all the genuine demands of the public. He directed the concerned to resolve the all genuine issues raised by the general public of the area.
Earlier, Sarpanches and Panches of the area highlighted various issues related to water supply, electricity, health care facilities, and availability of medicine in PHCs and other essentials commodities.
