Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 28: After reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories (UTs) the clamour to liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) is becoming louder.
During the past few days senior leaders have made it clear that time has come to realize the dream of "Akhand Bharat" and the liberation of PoK would be a major achievement. Even the leaders in Pakistan have realized that PoK is in danger and they can lose it. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan during his recent address to the nation said, "We have told the world that India is eyeing Muzaffarabad and Indian Army may cross the Line of Control on the pretext of destroying militants' camps."
"We have got the information that they are planning some operations across the LoC," he had said, after Imran's speech the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto accused Imran of putting the integrity of Pakistan at stake and acting as the puppet of Pakistan Army.
"The ones who were dreaming of Srinagar are running short of idea about how to save Muzaffarabad now," Bhutto said. Just few days ago Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh had made it clear that the only issue which need to be settled with the neighbouring country is the PoK.
An analyst while taking to Early Times said, "The present regime led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has made it amply clear that it won't tolerate terrorism. It is open secret that the Pakistan during past three decades has used PoK as the main base for sending terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. As on date many terror training camps and launching pads are present in PoK and there are reports that Pakistan Army is making desperate attempts to push terrorists into J&K."
He said, "Pakistan Army knows that well, if it tries to push the terrorists in J&K, this time around there is every possibility about Indian Army crossing the LoC and destroying the terror infrastructure."
An observer said, "India has changed and it won't tolerate any misadventure, Pakistan need to bear in mind the policy of new India is clear that is no one can bleed us anymore."
He said, "Tough stand taken by India has rattled the Pakistan Army and the ISI, which has been exporting the terror and terrorists into J&K for the past three decades. The PM Modi led government has turned heat on Pakistan, intensions of India are clear that if Pakistan doesn't mend its ways then it should get ready to part away with PoK."
