Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: A class 11th student drowned in Tawi River while bathing with his friends this afternoon. According to a police official, Danish (16) years, an 11th class was bathing in the River just few meters upside the fourth bridge this afternoon. "Accidently he went into deep water and drowned", he added. He said that a police led by SDPO City House, DySP Ram Singh rushed on spot and launched search operation. "A team from SDRF called in for operation after 40 minutes the team recovered Danish, he was immediately rushed to GMC, where doctor pronounced him brought dead", he said, adding that a case in this regard has been registered. "Incharges of Police Post Warehouse and Phalanmandal have been asked to conduct patrolling along the Tawi River, especially during season, when the river gets flooded frequently. We also appeal the masses not go in the river", he added.
