Plus-2 lecturers demands time bound promotion

Jammu, Sept 1: All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum has demanded time bound promotion to the lecturers.
During a monthly meeting, President Deepak Sharma reiterated demand for Assured Career Progression (ACP)/Time Bound Promotion in favour of Plus Two cadre and alleged step motherly treatment with them by previous governments and flayed dilly dallying tactics of the Govt as administrative committee framed for the purpose has failed to give its recommendations and further added that seriousness of the govt. can be gauged from the fact that new committee members have not been designated even after the retirement of two of the committee members for more than three months.
Referring to Chief Secretary's direction, for time bound report submission of all administrative committees, Forum demanded fixing of responsibility for this inordinate delay and urged Governor for his personal intervention to grant sanction to Assured Career Progression Scheme ( ACP) to remove age long stagnation as they have suffered a lot for want of Running Grade/Time Bound promotion otherwise they will be left with no other option than adapting agitational path.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included N.S. Jamwal,Dr Sushma, Anil Sharma, R.S. Slathia, Pardeep Singh, Anwar Khan,Renu Langeh,, Dr Ashok , Ghar Singh, DC kundel,Ajay Sehgal,Dr Rajneesh and Kewal Kumar.
