Jammu, Sept 1: A plantation drive was organized at HeartFulness Institute, Shri Rama Chandra Mission Yoga and Meditation Centre, Seohrra, Camp Gole Gujral in collaboration with ECORIDERS, a Jammu based Volunteer Organization. In this drive about 350 plants of 20 different native species including Shesham, Arjun, Jamun, Peepal, Sohanjana, Desi Babool, Desi Mango etc were planted in an area of 130 sq meters with the help of locals and volunteers. The technical support was also provided by ECORIDERS, a group of like minded people from different professions clubbed together to iron out the issue of Environment pollution, which in few years become a mammoth and detrimental problem for all the living beings on planet. The centre has made this humble contribution to improve atmosphere around this area, to circumscribe pollution, global warming and to make the surroundings green and to purify air. Chairman ECORIDERS, Devinder Singh Vishbnagrik has appealed to all to emulate the example of the mission to plant more threes through this MiyaWaki Technique. |
