Jammu, Sept 1: Editor Early Times Munish Gupta, who would be contesting the forthcoming assembly elections as an independent candidate Gandhi Nagar constituency, on Sunday assured people that if he wins, he would work 27x7 to ensure that the problems faced by people are resolved. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in chatha Munish said, "If people give me a chance to serve them, I assure them that they would not wait for years together for small things to happen. I will make sure that the issue which a common man confronts in his daily life are resolved without any delay." "My ongoing mass contact programme has shattered the myth that areas in Jammu are developed. Stinking garbage dumps, no proper water and electricity supply, dilapidated roads and choked drains are integral parts of these areas. It's unfortunate that repeated pleas of the people to provide them with basic amenities have been ignored by one and all during all these years", Munish said. He said, "If I win elections, I won't turn my back towards the people and will try my best to work for you. Welfare of people will be my top priority." Munish thanked the people for their support and their endorsing his ideas. "I appeal to the people to put their act together and vote for change", he added. |
