'No security check, crime on rise'; Bike stolen from Jagti Township | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 12: A brand new motor bike bearing registration number JKO2CH 9818 has been stolen by-some miscreants from Jagti colony parked near Block No 57 during the intervening night of September 11 and 12. A complaint against the theft has been lodged at police post Jagti camp by the owner. The locals alleged that police has miserably failed to keep a strict check on anti social elements who were involved in such activities in the camp."When we lodge a complaint we are told to keep your personal watch and ward staff for the protection of your property by the police", said a senior citizen Piaray Lal Thussu while talking to EarlyTimes adding that Relief organization has camped a contingent of security personnel in the camp for outer security only but not for the internal security of the camp. Meanwhile state coordinator India Against Corruption Sunil Pandita lambasted the Relief authorities for their pathetic approach towards the gullible Kashmiri Migrants who have been demanding roll back of the Relief employees to their parent departments due to high level corruption prevailing in the organization and simultaneously assessment of their assets with an immediate effect, Sunil added. |
