Kansal inspects pace of work on upcoming Govt quarters at Jammu

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 18- Principal Secretary Planning Rohit Kansal today visited Government quarters Ahata Amar Singh, Sarwal Housing Colony and Muthi to take stock of ongoing construction work of government quarters besides repair and renovation works. He also visited 3 BHK flats at Muthi and inspected the ongoing works, which are nearing completion.
He was accompanied by Deputy Director Estates Department Illyas Khan, XEN Estates Vidoh Sharma, and other senior officers of concerned departments.
At Ahatta Amar Singh Panjthirthi, Kansal inspected progress on 28 Government flats (G+6) being constructed by JKPCC at an estimated cost of Rs. 8.41 crore.
The Principal Secretary directed the engineers to expedite the pace of works so that the same would be completed at the earliest.
Similarly, at Government Quarters Sarwal, he inspected the construction of 28 two room BHK Quarters being executed by JKPCC. The Principal Secretary was informed that the project would be completed in 18 months while as structure part shall be completed within nine months.
He also visited Government Quarters Muthi, where 28 BHK (G+ 6) residential accommodations are coming up. He was apprised that construction work on Rs 6.76 crore project is in full swing.
Rohit Kansal also inspected the 72 3-BHK Muthi flats being constructed by JDA.
