Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: National Panthers Party (NPP) has threatened to launch an agitation if the construction work of Saror toll plaza would not be stopped. Addressing media persons at Vijaypur, Rajesh Padgotra Provincial President, JKNPP while giving warning said, "If the work of Toll Plaza at Saror, Patali Morh (Vijaypur-Bari Brahmana) in District Samba is not stopped, the agitation of Dharna, demonstration and chain hunger strike will be launched". Rajesh Padgotra while castigating the BJP MP Jugal Kishore said that when BJP was in opposition in J&K as well as centre it had criticized the installing of Toll Plaza and the Govt had stopped but now when the BJP is in power, the same dispensation is installing it, which is totally unfortunate. Padgotra also declared that the opening of the Toll Plaza at the said spot will entail a great less for the traders, students, industrialists, vehicles owners and transporters as well as general public. The situation in J&K is quite sensitive already and the Govt of J&K is adding fuel to the fire by levying a "Zazia" on the innocent public, such a step is a counter-productive, he said. Padgotra appealed to all the stake-holders to assemble at Patali Morh near Toll Plaza on 26th September, 2019 at 10:00 a.m to launch the agitation strongly. Among other who attended the Press Conference include Khajoor Singh, Ex-Sarpanch, Rakesh Verma, Block President Bari Brahmana, Rohit Sharma Youth leader NPP and Rajbir Singh Jamwal besides others. |
