10/3/2019 10:07:29 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum today held a meeting in which several issues of teaching fraternity were discussed.
The issues raised were that the masters working as Head Teachers in the upgraded Middle Schools I.e., under the erstwhile SSA schemes are struggling hard since the last so many months for the sanction of permanent posts of Masters on the pattern of those Masters working under the erstwhile RMSA scheme for the release of their regular salaries which is lying pending since last six to eight months including the pay arrears on account of 7th pay commission but nothing concrete has been done by the higher authorities, rendering thousands of Masters hapless as it has become hard for them to meet out the expenditure for their families including the Educational expenses of their wards, medical treatment to their ailing family members and repayment of installments of housing loans etc.
The JKTF urged Governor and his advisor Education department to take the personal initiative to come to the rescue of the Masters working as Head Teachers in the upgraded Middle Schools to provide justice to them who are working with out salary with the full of their capacities, capabilities and dedication.
