'Wait and watch won't help, Delhi needs to act; destroy terror bases in PoK'
Pak sponsored terrorists waiting for chance to bleed India: US
10/4/2019 11:09:39 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: The United States has warned of possible terror attacks by Pakistan based terror outfits in retaliation to New Delhi's move to reorganize Jammu & Kashmir into two Union Territories- J&K and Ladakh.
According to the US based intelligence agencies, the terror bosses sitting in Pakistan are likely to activate the terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir to carry out the terror strikes in J&K and other parts of the India.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Warning sounded by the US based intelligence agencies cannot be brushed aside. There are enough inputs which suggest that terror launch pads are full and Pakistan Army is making every possible attempt to push in more and more terrorists into J&K." He said, "Our security forces are on high alert and are prepared to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy. Instead of waiting for them to cross over into the Indian territory the security forces should crush them within the Pakistan occupied Kashmir where most of the terror launch pads are based."
An observer said, "Recently the security agencies revealed that as many as sixty terrorists in small groups have infiltrated into J&K during the past two months and these groups do pose a threat. We cannot wait for them to inflict injury upon us. We need to act before they succeed in their designs."
According to the United States Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, Randal Shriver, "Many countries want Pakistan to keep a lid over terror groups that might conduct cross-border activities. And I don't think that China wants that kind of escalation or would support it," Shriver said.
A Kashmir Watcher said it is strange that entire world including the United States knows it very well that Pakistan supports terror groups and it can carry out attacks against India through the terrorists sponsored by it despite that no action is being taken against Pakistan and its leaders.
He said, "As it is people of Kashmir are suffering due to the shutdown being enforced by the terrorists and if they start carrying on attacks it will further deteriorate the situation in the Valley."
"Our leaders know it very well that they are the ones who will have to take an initiative and launch decisive war against the terrorists and their bosses who are being provided all the support by Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech at United Nations General Assembly made it clear that time has come to launch a decisive war against terror and if any attack takes place in India it would mean sounding of war bugle," said another analyst.
