Security personnel, JK police officals donate 27 points of blood at DH Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Oct 6: On one side the security forces and Jammu and Kashmir police is busy in tackling the law and order and dealing with the growing militancy in the District, both are continuing it's tireless services towards the welfare of the society, the security personnels belongs to different wings along with police officals of Kishtwar police donated the 27 points of blood at District Hospital Kishtwar for the needy patients during the camp which was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana in presence of Commander Sector 9 RR, Vikram Bhan, Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta, Commandant CISF, Commandant CRPF, CMO Kishtwar Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas, Medical Superintendent Dr. Parvez lqbal Wani
Dy. CMO Kishtwar Dr. Mohd Yaqoob Mir, ASP Kishtwar Nasir Khan who also donated the blood during this camp, Consultant doctors, Medical Offiers, Paramedical Staff of District Hospital Kishtwar, Senior citizens, nursing stdents of BGSBU, Students of ANMT School Kishtwar and large number of public attended the function.
While addressing the participants, DC Kishtwar appealed to the participants to spread the message of voluntary blood donation to every nook and corner of the district.
He further assured Hospital authorities his full support in every aspect of patient care.
He lauded the efforts of hospital authorties, Doctors, and Paramedical Staff in maintaining, professionalism, cleanliness and improving in their working enviorment and also advised them to maintain the same in near future.
Commander Sector 9RR in his address assured the hospital authorties regarding participation in such activities as and when required by the hospital. Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Parvez Iqbal Wani welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and also expressed his gratituted to the dignitries and to the voluntary donors especially Army, Paramiltry and Police Force Personals.
He also spoke regarding the importance of blood donation to make blood bank functional.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas Kishtwar in his address also spoke regarding spreading the message of voluntary blood donation to general public of district by organsing such camps in rural areas.
Dr Kanchan Medical Officer (Dip Pathology) I/C Blood Bank spoke about the function of the blood bank, voluntary blood donation and positive efiects on the health of donors.
At the end Medical Superintendent DH Kishtwar presented vote of thanks to dignitaries and participants for making the occasion successfull.
