Reasi, Oct 11: District Level Kala Utsav 2019 programme was organized by Chief Education Officer Reasi under SAMAGRA SHIKSHA an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (Govt. of India) at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi on 10-10-2019. Students of various Zones of the District Reasi participated in the event.
On the occasion, Nirmal Choudhary Chief Education Officer Reasi was the Chief guest while Amresh Kumar Principal GHSS(G) Reasi presided over the function. Before starting the event Mohd Mansha DRG welcomed to all the Guest / Teachers and Students & placed a brief introduction of programme.
The Kala Utsav competition was organized in different four categories Viz. Solo Vocal Music, Solo Instrumental Music, Solo Dance and Solo Paintings. The students adjudged as best male and female were awarded in each category. Vanshika Banathia from GHSS(G) Reasi and Sourav Bali from GHSS (B) Reasi were declared best in Vocal Music (Solo Singing) Aradhaya and Ashutosh from Gurukul Higher Secondary School Reasi got best in Instrumental Music (Solo), in Solo Dance competition, Arushi Sharma from Vikas Vicky Memorial School Laiter and Dhanjay Singh From GHSS(B) Reasi were declared best performer.
In the Painting competition Rajesh Kumar GHSS Katra & Miss. Sania Thakur GHS Gran secured the best painter in the kala utsav. The winners will participate in Divisional level competition 15th Oct 2019 to be held at Jammu.The adjudicators of the event were Rakesh Chobber Lect., Raja Aamir Khan, Subash Kumar Lect. Ekta Khajuria DRG, and Akram Khan Lect. DIET Reasi.
Chief Education officer Reasi Nirmal Choudhary appreciated the students and teachers for their efforts while addressing on the occasion and blessed the participants for their success.
