| DC Kathua conducts surprise inspection of offices | | |

Kathua, Oct 19: Deputy Commissioner Kathua , Om Parkash Bhagat along with senior officers of district administration today conducted surprise inspection of several government offices to check punctuality and functioning of the departments.
DC Kathua visited various offices viz Social Welfare, Co-Operative, Education, Youth Services & Sports, Rural Development, Tehsildar, TSO, Employment & Counseling Centre and JKEDI. While taking serious note of employees coming late to the offices, DC ordered strict action against such employees under norms including suspension of absentee employees. He asked all the district officers and other employees to maintain punctuality and ensure effective delivery of services to the general public. He emphasized upon the employees to remain punctual and ensure their availability for general public who come for seeking redressal of their grievances form far off areas. DC directed all the officers to ensure the attendance of their subordinates so that hassle free public service delivery is provided in a better way. The DDC also visited MCMC Cell functioning in District Information Centre, Kathua and check the functioning of the cell established in view of BDC Elections-2019. Later DDC also inspected record room where work of digitalization of revenue record is going on. While taking review of the progress, DC directed the revenue staff to take due care while scanning record for ensuring error free data. ADC Kathua Ghanshyam Singh, ACR Kathua Davinder Paul, Tehsildar Kapil Kant khajuria, Kathua, District Information Officer Parshotam Dass accompanied the DC during the inspection. |
