Retired Head Draftsman reengaged just after retirement in SICOP
Holds two key posts unofficially

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 20: Following the footsteps of his predecessor, the incumbent Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (SICOP) once again reengaged a superannuated employee in the cash starved corporation.
Well placed sources in the corporation said that the proximity of influential official (Head Draftsman) can be gauged from this fact that he retired from the post on June, 2019 and was reengaged in the cash starved corporation just after few month and now he is holding key post of Drawing section including Account and Clerical Section also.
"Despite availability of sufficient staff but due to close relation with power corridor, he has superseded deserving ones and still holding the wing' key post", said sources while wishing anonymity.
Sources further said that due to his influence, he has been dictating the General Manager, Project as well as Estate and force them to take his favourable decisions that he was wanted.
"However, after the changing of guard at Managing Director (MD) level, the official of the corporation are high hope from the incumbent MD but he has also following the footsteps of their predecessor and re-engaged spree of superannuated employee of the same corporation", said sources.
It is pertinent to mention here that the previous coalition government put blanket ban of any employee in any department without following due recruitment process with government order No: 384-GAD of 2015, dated 17/03/2015 that reads as
"All the re-employment orders issued by various Government Department are revoked with immediate effect. All the reengagement/arrangements made by the different Departments/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Board/Autonomous Bodies under any scheme against sanctioned post without any selection procedure, even on contractual basis, shall cease to exist with immediate effect."
"But ironically, the corporation set aside the government order and re-engaged superannuated employee in the corporation that too when Governor rule is imposed in the state", said another source.
