Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 1: To know about the field functioning, a group of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) Probationers undergoing training at Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) on Thursday participated in an interactive session with the district administration held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad. During the interactive session with the Probationers, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Sher Singh exhorted upon the Probationers to work with dedication and honesty as they are the future planners and the people of the state have high expectations from them. He gave a detailed account of the developmental activities being carried out in the district under various sectors like roads, health, education, industries and employment. He also shared with them experiences of his services at various positions. Additional SP Liyaqat Ali, District Panchayat officer, Dr.Abdul Khabir, Assistant Director Employment and counselling centre Anil Kumar,block development officers and others officers were present during the interactive session. Meanwhile, the group of Probationers conducted a daylong tour of the district to get the idea of field functioning and to have better understanding of the role of administration in delivering services to the common masses. During their tour, they visited Block Plungher and interacted with the PRI members to know about the various services being provided by the Rural Development Department to the people of the rural areas. Later, they visited other places of the district including Thanamandi, Chingus, Dudhadhari Temple, Shadrasharief etc. |
