DPS Jammu organizes Show N Tell Competition

Jammu, Nov 2: To encourage the imagination, confidence and creative thinking among tiny-tots, DPS Jammu organized 'Show & Tell' Competition for the students of class Prep. Students participated whole heartedly with full zeal and enthusiasm. This gives a great opportunity to the sparkling stars to display their talent on the stage. The children expressed their views on various topics with elated props in their hands. They showed and described their favourite objects, pictures of their favourite persons and social & environmental issues. The competition was adjudged by Kamini Sawhney and Meenu Purshotam. The first prize was bagged by Reedha Malik & Alena Arora of Prep-C while Aayansh Gupta (Prep-A) & Rusal Srivastav (Prep-C) stood second. The third prize was shared by Rizwan Butt (Prep-C) & Samanyu Seth (Prep-C). Consolation prizes were also received by Aarav Sharma (Prep-B) and Yaminah Rashid (Prep-D). Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students for speaking on vast topics. She applauded the great efforts put in by the teachers and parents. Also present on the occasion, Headmistress, Meenu Gupta laid stress on the need to hold more such competitions as they give flight to the Child's creativity. Coordinator, Prep wing, Preeti Abrol was also present on the occasion.
