Kishtwar, Nov 3: Adarsh Bal Niketan High School, Kishtwar today celebrated its 59th Annual Day in which Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC appreciated the institution for imparting quality education besides encouraging extracurricular activities among students of the area.
He asked the students to refrain from the various social evils like drug menace and adopt a healthy lifestyle by regularly taking part in sports activities.
Meanwhile Head of the Institution highlighted the activities and achievements of the school in academic and extracurricular activities.
Principal of the School, Rajesh Chander gave details of the endeavours made by this institution in imparting quality education to the children.
CEO Kishtwar, Kuldeep Sharma, President Managing Committee of the School Ramesh Chander Sen, Vice President Roshan Lal Parihar also spoke on the occasion.
On the occasion, students of the school presented colourful cultural bonanza based on cultural heritage and patriotism.
Galaxy of intellectuals from various strata were present including CEO Kishtwar, Kuldeep Sharma, Dy. CEO Rajinder Sen, Principal GHS Kishtwar, Kishori lal, Ad Planning, Manish Manhas, Principal of school Rajesh Chander, President Managing Committee of the School Ramesh Chander Sen, Vice President Roshan Lal Parihar and other members, Prominent Singers Nisar Doolwal, Abul Rashid Dev, Suresh Kumar, Mubashar Haider, parents of students were present on this occasion besides children from the school presented a colorful cultural programme.
