Rana joins Gopashtami Puja, prays for peace in J&K

JAMMU, Nov 4: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana today joined the traditional congregational Pujas on the auspicious occasion of Gopashtami at famous Ambphalla Gaushala, in the heart of the heritage old town
Joined by hundreds of devotees and Mahant Rameshwar Dass of Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi the Provincial President prayed for peace, tranquility, amity, brotherhood and early return of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rana greeted the people and wished them good health and prosperity. He said such auspicious occasions reinforce our faith in the great values cherished by generations from times immemorial. This is also the occasion to share our joys with fellow brethren and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, he added.
The Samaroh, organized by Jammu Kashmir Goraksha Samiti, Ambphalla, Jammu began with Gaupoojan in the morning, followed by Yaghya, religious discourse and community langer.
President of the Samiti Raj Kumar Gupta, Vice President Vimal Mahajan and General Secretary Gyatanandan Jain were among the prominent citizens present on the occasion, who presented mementos to invitees.
