Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir displaced persons are the victim of worst human right violation
Ronik Sharma12/9/2019 10:03:51 PM
After the creation of Pakistan in 1947, Pakistan had started inhuman activities within a short span of time in the forward areas and boundaries which divides India and Pakistan as two Nations. These areas belongs to the independent princely State of Jammu and Kashmir and was ruled by the then Maharaja Hari Singh . It was a planned strategy of the Pakistan to capture the maximum areas of Jammu and Kashmir by force . The then Pakistan's military rulers hatched a conspiracy to attack the forward blocks of these areas at midnight where the maximum population of Hindus and Sikhs. These innocent people were living unarmed and without security forces. Due to this major attack from Pakistani side bloodiest displacement started from all parts of Mirpur, Muzaffarpur, Kotli, Bhimber, Sadnoti etc. the areas which are now called as the Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). Due to this external aggression of Pakistani army and their hired agents on Indian domain which was part of the Jammu and Kashmir since 1947 large number of people got killed and everyone who were living in those areas left all his movable and immovable properties behind and got displacement. It is very unfortunate to discuss horrified tales that a father killed their daughter in order to save their honour and many other women committed suicide in order to save their modesty.
The displaced families who were uprooted by the external aggression of the Pakistan left everything behind and were temporary settled down within J&K and outside J&K with fake assurances of the successive governments that India will get back POJK from illegal occupation of the Pakistan and the displaced families will be sent back to their own homes. But nothing would have happen even after decades. But till their wards are waiting for justice and documentation. From time to time the central Government announced financial packages for the welfare of Pojk DPS but ad-hoc arrangements. Due to number of protests and strong resentment by the displaced community of 1947 the central government had constituted a Parliamentary Standing Committee and recommendations were also made by that committee. The declaration of Human rights had failed to provide the right to return, whereas they have all rights to return as per the U.N guiding principles on internal displacement. UN Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) have ignored the atrocities and human right violations perpetrated over the displaced persons by Pakistan since 1947.
The involuntary displacement due to Pakistani army and hired agents forced the innocent people to flee from violence, human rights violations.
