PWD starts black topping work at Ramgarh

Vijaypur, Dec 11: The work of black topping was started by Public Works Department at Ramgarh of district Samba after the news published in Early Times.
The locals of border villages of Ramgarh Sector thanked the ET for highlighting their issues due to which the black topping work of road from village Chak Slarian to Bandral was started. Abhinash Choudhary social activist told that it has been done due to the impact of highlighting the said issue by ET which was unnecessarily delaying by the Public Works Department. He told that the construction work of said road at the various place has been completed but the Power Development Department has not shifted the Transformer and electric poles from the road. There is apprehension of occurring incident which may harm the human life due to the carelessness and negligence of PDD. Yash Paul Sharma - JKNPP leader said that the complaint regarding the non-construction of drainage system abutting the link road have been received, the authority must take it serious and the proper drainage system should be constructed for the safety of the road. Preet Pal Singh - local resident of Chak Slarian also thanked the ET for highlighting the burning issue of the Border Area and hoped that in future the ET will help the border area people.
