Vishal Cricket Club ,Horizon Club registers win in J&K UT T20 Friendship Championship

JAMMU, Dec 12 : Vishal Cricket eleven and Horizon Cricket Club registered win against their opponents and entered in the semis in "J&K UT T20 Friendship Championship". The members of the organizing body includes Vinay Gupta, Arjun Choudhary, Rakesh Koul, Vijay Saberwal, Sanjeev Sharma ,Harsh Nayar whereas Rajesh Gill Former Ranji Players is thecoordinator of the championship. The slogan of the Championship is "lets' play and stay healthy". And the main objective of the event is to engage youths and students in sports so that they may not derail from the main stream. Vishal Cricket Club defeated Secretariat Blues XI by 7 wickets .
Batting first Secretariat blues XI scored 153 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Mushtaq 51 runs, Mohsin 25 and Danish 20 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Amrit Pal Singh took 5 wickdets while Rajesh gill and Jasprit took 1 wicket each. In reply Vishal Cricket chased the target in 17 overs by losing 3 wickets. Amritpal Singh 60 runs, Ramandeeep Singh 42 and Rohan Gill 29 runs were the main scorers.
From bowling side Ameen took 2 wickets while Imtiaz took 1 wicket. Amritpal Singh declared man of the match. Horizon Cricket Club defeated Friends Cricket Club by 73 runs. Batting first Horizon club scored 231 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs with Paras Sharma 76 runs in 30 balls, Ayush 48 runs and Kanya 37 runs.
From bowling side Rajat took 2 wickets and Sahil took 1 wicket. In reply Friends Club could not chased the target and made 158 runs by losing all wickets thus lost the match by 73 runs. Rishu 58, Abhishek 33 were the scorers. From the bowling side Abay and Paras took 2 wickets each. Paras Sharma declared man of the match. The matches were officiated by Vijay, Ashok Kumar, Nitish Kumar, Sandeep.
