| Businessman constructs septic tank on road, authorities ignorant | | |  Ashwani Sharma

Udhampur, Dec 14: Believe it or not, an influential businessman has made a septic tank for his business organisaion by digging the road and completed the construction work during night hourd under the nose of Municipal authorities. Sources informed that the businessman has very strong links with bigwigs . The septic tank was constructed few years back but now the public is facing problems due to it. "In rainy days the municipal drain was blocked due to septic tank which was constructed on the road few yrs ago resulting water logged on the road and commuter making it difficult to walk through," sources maintained. Another daily commuter Banuu said that foul smell comes from the septic tank and disturbs the passersby. He appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Piyush Singla to take action in this regard. However, certain sections of the society said that if anyone even raises a wall without informing the MC authorities action is taken against him. How come such an illegal construction was not noticed by the authorities. |
