Early Times Report
Poonch, Dec 14: People of the district have expressed their resentment over shortage of kerosene oil as harsh winter was going on with heavy rains and snowfall and CAPD department was unmoved to restore the supply of the essential commodity in the area sources said here today.
They said due to harsh winter the upper reaches were covered under thick layer of snow while incessant rains were going on but CAPD department has failed to restore the supply of kerosene oil to the district which was a requirement of priority for the people because electricity remains mostly interrupted or goes off for longer intervals of time they added.
According to locals for the last over three months the supply of kerosene oil was not made to the district as most of the depot holders had to get their licenses renewed but now three months are over but still department failed to take the cognizance of problems being faced by the people.
Social activist Engineer Mushtaq has urged the LG and director CAPD Department that people were not getting the essential commodity which was much needed in this winter season and the supply of the same be properly restored at the earliest, he added.
