Removal of Three Curses from Politics
Omkar Dattatray1/10/2020 9:33:35 PM
Indian politics stands cursed with the three vices of appeasement, casteism and dynastic rule from decades thanks to the congress raj, These vices have eaten the very vitals of the parliamentary democracy. In paper ours is the largest democracy of the world but in practice it is the family and dynastic politics which rules the roost even after more than the 70 years of self rule and freedom. During these odd seventy years no leader of substance was produced by the country that could rid the Indian politics from the banes of seven decades. These curses are minority and caste appeasement, casteism and the menace of dynastic rule. Now Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is credited with making and taking of the bold decisions one after the other has also attacked these vices of the Indian politics and has nearly freed the politics from these vices and curses and has given a strong and curse free polity which is a great feat of the Narendra Modi government. Amit Shah is right when he remarked that Modi has freed Indian politics from the three curses of appeasement. Casteism and dynasty rule and this is a big development for our polity and country. In fact Modi has freed the polity from these curses and has shown that no one could do these works and he has taken bold and daring decisions for the nation which no previous PM could do and this characteristic distinguishes MOdi from other prime ministers and thus he is the tallest PM of the country. These three curses were eating the vitality of the polity and governance like termite and it was very important to get the polity freed from these curses and Modi got it done through self less service, devotion to duty and by his bold decisions. The remarks about curses removal were given by the home minister Amit Shah while releasing a book on the life of Narendra Modi entitled Karmayoddha Granth. Amit Shah said that Modi is a man with a beating heart for the people, a hard task master, an able administrator and an able leader who leads by example. The minority and caste appeasement which is the breed of the congress regimes was a big curse of the polity which has given a great set back to the democratic functioning and governance as our leaders where only exploiting the religious and caste denominations for the vote bank politics. This appeasement politics has put us to great disadvantage and thus is not required in our multi-religious and diverse society and Modi is credited with the distinction of having freed the polity from the un-necessary appeasement policies and politics, Ours is a diverse society which is caste ridden and different casts and sub - castes are living in India and caste and social engineering is the characteristic feature of the Indian polity. Thus our rulers mostly from congress have exploited the caste politics to the hilt and have further divided the society on caste lines only to gain few votes and rule the country and chair was the only issue for these leaders. Thus caste politics is further accentuated in the country thanks to congress policy of caste politics. This caste politics is a great set back to our volatile society and thus to get the society rid from the caste politics is a great feat of Modi government. The third curse damaging the real democracy was the dynastic and family politics which is also a big curse for the country. In theory ours is a democracy but in practice it is a dynastic monocracy which has kept the people of the country under the perpetual subjugation and therefore our democracy becomes meaningless proposition as these dynastic political parties have brought havoc to our parliamentary democracy and now Modi has freed the country from the shackles of dynastic rule and has given a true peoples government and this is a great achievement of the NDA government. In nutshell the Indian polity and country is now free from the three curses of appeasement. Caste politics and dynastic rule and the credit for this goes to the hard work of Narendra Modi.
